I Dreamed that I Could Fly - Eric Herman

I dreamed that I was in my room, when much to my surprise



I found that if I flapped my arms it made me start to rise.



I waved my arms a little more, then floated off the ground.



I rose up to the ceiling and I had a look around.



I flapped around my bedroom, then decided what Id do.



I opened up my window, waved my arms and out I flew.

I flew around the city with surprising grace and ease.



I sailed among the rooftops and I soared above the trees.



I chased a pair of pigeons round the playground in the park



I raced beside a robin and I frolicked with a lark.

And when I tired of flying and decided I should rest,



I joined a sleeping eagle for a nap inside his nest.



I thought that it was just a dream. I knew it had to be.



Until I woke to find that I was sleeping in a tree!

J'ai rêvé que j'étais dans ma chambre, quand à ma grande surprise



J'ai trouvé que si je battais des bras, cela me faisait commencer à me lever.



J'ai agité mes bras un peu plus, puis j'ai flotté du sol.



Je me suis levé jusqu'au plafond et j'ai regardé autour de moi.



J'ai tourné dans ma chambre, puis j'ai décidé ce que je ferais.



J'ai ouvert ma fenêtre, agité mes bras et je me suis envolé.

Volez et tout va bien.







J'ai volé dans la ville avec une grâce et une facilité surprenantes.



J'ai navigué parmi les toits et j'ai plané au-dessus des arbres.



J'ai chassé une paire de pigeons autour de la cour de récréation du parc



J'ai couru à côté d'un merle et j'ai gambadé avec une alouette.

Volez et tout va bien.







Et quand je suis fatigué de voler et que je décide de me reposer,



J'ai rejoint un aigle endormi pour une sieste à l'intérieur de son nid.



Je pensais que ce n'était qu'un rêve. Je savais que ça devait être.



Jusqu'à ce que je me réveille pour découvrir que je dormais dans un arbre!
