Dan Murrow is a mighty friendly man

He's big and round like a bear

He hugs his friends and his friends hug him

Anytime, anywhere.

His patients would come for therapy

To drive their blues away

And sooner or later they'd feel a lot better

He got all annoyed

You can keep 'em quiet with drugs,

You can strap 'em and zap 'em with electroshock

But you better not give 'em a hug.

Mais il est désolé pour les gens qui sont enfermés

Où les câlins ne sont pas autorisés.

Quand j'étais un petit bébé minuscule, ma maman me tenait fermement

Mon papa venait me chercher quand j'avais peur la nuit

Les années ont passé, j'ai grandi si vite et surtout je me sens fort

Mais timide ou audacieux, je ne suis jamais trop vieux pour chanter cette chanson confortable.

Maintenant, certains n'aiment pas les câlins - ils pensent qu'ils sont trop durs

Je parie qu'ils seraient beaucoup plus amicaux s'ils étaient juste assez étreints

Lorsque vous serrez dans vos bras ceux qui vous aiment, une chose incroyable que vous apprenez

Lorsque vous faites un câlin, vous ne pouvez pas vous empêcher d'en obtenir un en retour!

Parfois, les adultes sont grognons et ils vous en accusent

Parfois, vous faites juste une petite erreur bien que vous ayez fait de votre mieux

Parfois l'amour est partout et c'est une belle journée
