I keep switching girls all the time because if i'm able to find a girl with really a groovy car that I can build up, man, I'll go steady with her for awhile until I can build up her car and blow out the engine.

I worked in a cheesy newspaper company for awhile but that was terrible, I wasn't making enough money to build anything

And then I worked in a printing company and a couple of gas stations. Oh at the gas station where I was working my brother had just gotten married and uh, he bought a new car and his wife was having a kid and all this miserable stuff and he needed a job so I gave him a job at the gas station of which I was fired because, you know, he was going to work there. And he had his car on the rack and he was lubing it and changing tires and everything all the time. And so then he got fired because he was goofing off, man, and he just kept taking parts and working on his car day and night. So he lost that job and I went to work in another gas station. He took that one, you know, so he could feed the kids and that. Then I went to work in a aircraft company, and uh, I was building these planes. I worked on the XB-70, I was the last welder on there. Yea but, It was pretty good bread because I was making um, $2.71 an hour. I was making a hundred and a quarter a week, and uh, yea it was good enough money to be working on so

i got an Oldsmobile, a groovy Olds. But I was going with this chick at the time. By the time I got the olds running decently, she went out and tore up the engine, and the trans and let her girlfriends get in there and booze it up and tare up the seats. They ripped the seats completely out. So uh, I got a '56 olds, which was this one chick I was going with, and uh we used to drive out all over the place and finally she got rid of that and uh, I got another pickup.

Je change de filles tout le temps parce que si je peux trouver une fille avec vraiment une voiture groovy que je peux construire, mec, je vais rester stable avec elle pendant un certain temps jusqu'à ce que je puisse construire sa voiture et souffler la moteur.

J'ai travaillé dans une entreprise de journaux au fromage pendant un certain temps, mais c'était terrible, je ne gagnais pas assez d'argent pour construire quoi que ce soit

Et puis j'ai travaillé dans une imprimerie et quelques stations-service. Oh, à la station-service où je travaillais, mon frère venait de se marier et euh, il a acheté une nouvelle voiture et sa femme avait un enfant et toutes ces choses misérables et il avait besoin d'un emploi alors je lui ai donné un emploi à la station-service dont j'ai été licencié parce que, vous savez, il allait y travailler. Et il avait sa voiture sur le porte-bagages et il la lubrifiait et changeait les pneus et tout le temps. Et alors il a été licencié parce qu'il faisait des gaffes, mec, et il a juste continué à prendre des pièces et à travailler sur sa voiture jour et nuit. Il a donc perdu son emploi et je suis allé travailler dans une autre station-service. Il a pris celui-là, vous savez, pour pouvoir nourrir les enfants et tout ça. Ensuite, je suis allé travailler dans une compagnie aéronautique, et euh, je construisais ces avions. J'ai travaillé sur le XB-70, j'étais le dernier soudeur là-bas. Oui, mais c'était du bon pain parce que je gagnais, 2,71 $ l'heure. Je gagnais cent un quart par semaine, et euh, oui, c'était assez d'argent pour travailler alors

j'ai un Oldsmobile, un Olds groovy. Mais j'allais avec cette nana à l'époque. Au moment où j'ai réussi à faire marcher les vieux décemment, elle est sortie et a déchiré le moteur et les trans et a laissé ses copines y entrer et les faire boire et tarer les sièges. Ils ont complètement déchiré les sièges. Alors euh, j'ai eu une vieille de 56 ans, qui était cette fille avec qui j'allais, et euh nous avions l'habitude de chasser partout et finalement elle s'est débarrassée de ça et euh, j'ai eu une autre camionnette.
