The Touch - Residents

as they told me other childhood stories, they knew that I stood close but

never close enough to touch the holy union of their bonding that I wished

to touch so fondly with my heart, and maybe somehow more. But they had a

way of keeping it away, while never seeming less than big and open

friendly doors. The one day it finally happened. JUst before they took a

nap, we joked around the room in which they slept. They were kidding me

about an incident when I kicked out some rowdy shouting somethng near the

door. They said that I had looked afraid and if I didn't act my age, then

they would have to hold me back next time. I laughed and said that it

would take more than just two freaks to make me stop if someone iterrupted

us again. And with that we started shoving back and forth until a sudden

move caught me completely off my guard. They reached surrounding me within

a wall of flesh-I found my only freedom left was in my had which dangled

own between their sides until I jerked and seemed to watch it flutter down

upon their joint. And suddenly a shock went through me and a moment

slipped into the room that was not in the air before. Looking up we al

connected in a triangle of eyes reflecting tension and unsaid excitement,

too. Then it passed in nervous laughter, but I sensed a change soon after

we unlocked our limbs and I withdrew.

comme ils m'ont raconté d'autres histoires d'enfance, ils savaient que je me tenais proche mais

jamais assez près pour toucher la sainte union de leur lien que je souhaitais

toucher si tendrement avec mon c?ur, et peut-être plus. Mais ils avaient un

moyen de le garder à l'écart, sans jamais paraître moins grand et ouvert

portes amicales. Le jour où c'est finalement arrivé. JUSTE avant de prendre un

sieste, nous avons plaisanté dans la pièce dans laquelle ils dormaient. Ils se moquaient de moi

à propos d'un incident où j'ai expulsé des cris tapageurs près du

porte. Ils ont dit que j'avais l'air effrayé et que si je n'agissais pas de mon âge, alors

ils devraient me retenir la prochaine fois. J'ai ri et je l'ai dit

il faudrait plus que deux monstres pour que je m'arrête si quelqu'un est en panne

nous à nouveau. Et avec ça, nous avons commencé à faire des va-et-vient jusqu'à ce que soudain

mouvement m'a pris complètement au dépourvu. Ils sont arrivés en m'entourant

un mur de chair-j'ai trouvé que ma seule liberté restait dans mon avait qui pendait

posséder entre leurs côtés jusqu'à ce que je sursaute et semble le regarder flotter

sur leur joint. Et tout à coup un choc m'a traversé et un moment

glissé dans la pièce qui n'était pas dans l'air auparavant. En levant les yeux, nous avons tous

connectés dans un triangle d'yeux reflétant la tension et l'excitation non dite,

aussi. Puis il est passé dans un rire nerveux, mais j'ai senti un changement peu de temps après

nous avons déverrouillé nos membres et je me suis retiré.
