The Silver Sea - Mortiis

Oft I wonder...

As my mind's eye fly its own course...

Into those places,

that I cannot wander...



Where are they, those dark and hidden places...

That I cannot wander to?

Where is the place...

A place my mind often travel to...

That place I fear and hate,

but still so long to go...



For I see my freedom there...

The freedom of my my mind and body...

I see great walls of stone...

And I see beyond that silvery sea...



I see... Alas! I see... That silvery sea,

by the end of the walls...

Flowing into ever black infinity...

Becomming the spirits of the twillight...

Those free spirits,

I see them and I wonder...

Mayhaps I am the only who have seen...

The spirits, the stars, flowing into the darkness...

I wonder... May that there bright star whirling about...

Be my spirit of old?

Souvent je me demande ...

Alors que mon esprit suit son propre chemin ...

Dans ces endroits,

que je ne peux pas errer ...



Où sont-ils, ces endroits sombres et cachés ...

Que je ne peux pas errer?

Où est l'endroit ...

Un endroit où mon esprit voyage souvent ...

Cet endroit que je crains et que je déteste,

mais il me reste encore tellement de temps ...



Car j'y vois ma liberté ...

La liberté de mon esprit et de mon corps ...

Je vois de grands murs de pierre ...

Et je vois au-delà de cette mer argentée ...



Je vois ... Hélas! Je vois ... Cette mer argentée,

au bout des murs ...

Coulant dans l'infini toujours noir ...

Devenir les esprits du crépuscule ...

Ces esprits libres,

Je les vois et je me demande ...

Peut-être que je suis le seul à avoir vu ...

Les esprits, les étoiles, coulant dans les ténèbres ...

Je me demande ... Que cette étoile brillante tourbillonne ...

Soyez mon esprit d'autrefois?
