Earthdawn - Logars Diary

Once in a time where steel helped to survive and magic existed to see the unspoken - the

essential base of everything - in that time a land was growing which extended from the

Wyrm Woods to the Death's Sea and from the Wastes to the dwarven kingdom Throal. Its

name was Barsaive.



For almost everything magic was used and so the magical level rose up more and more.

Then, as it reached its highest level - the unholy dark came on earth. The shroud of

madness. The prophecy came true. Humanity hid in their Kaers which they built to escape

from eternal hell. The devastating plague crawled over the land and left death and ruins

behind. The horrors invented strange techniques to enter the Kaers. Their thirst for blood

was unquenchable. Often they possessed the mentally weak to lead their fellows to death.



And so it was for 500 years.



When the horrors left earth back to their dimension, mankind began to open the Kaers and

rebuilt the cities. Barsaive thrived in old beautiness. It took about a hundred years to

restore it.



And this is where the story takes place...

Une fois à une époque où l'acier aidait à survivre et où la magie existait pour voir le non-dit - le

base essentielle de tout - à cette époque, une terre grandissait qui s'étendait du

Wyrm Woods à la mer de la mort et des déchets au royaume nain Throal. Son

s'appelait Barsaive.



Pour presque tout, la magie était utilisée et ainsi le niveau magique augmentait de plus en plus.

Puis, alors qu'il atteignait son plus haut niveau - l'obscurité impie vint sur terre. Le linceul de

la démence. La prophétie s'est réalisée. L'humanité s'est cachée dans leurs Kaers qu'ils ont construit pour s'échapper

de l'enfer éternel. La peste dévastatrice a rampé sur la terre et a laissé la mort et des ruines

derrière. Les horreurs ont inventé d'étranges techniques pour entrer dans les Kaers. Leur soif de sang

était inextinguible. Souvent, ils possédaient des personnes mentalement faibles pour mener leurs semblables à la mort.



Et il en a été ainsi pendant 500 ans.



Lorsque les horreurs ont renvoyé la terre à leur dimension, l'humanité a commencé à ouvrir les Kaers et

reconstruit les villes. Barsaive a prospéré dans la beauté ancienne. Il a fallu environ cent ans pour

le restaurer.



Et c'est là que se déroule l'histoire ...
