et les masses se lèvent au jour le jour.

Ils rencontrent leur désespoir dans un travail inutile,

perdu aux yeux du monde où la mort est la scène.



Pour Mammon ils vivent, à eux-mêmes ils donneront,

de trésors et de fierté gloutonne.

Devant le Soi, ils se prosternent, ils adorent leur couronne,

vivant aux yeux du monde, mais la mort vit à l'intérieur.
