Sittin' right behind me I could smell her perfume

It was something I smelled before

Went through a red light while I spilled my drink

I could feel something sticky on the floor

I knew then that my cab was just a getaway car

We pulled out of traffic down a dark side street

Assis juste derrière moi, je pouvais sentir son parfum

"Maintenant, tais-toi et garde tes mains sur le volant ...

Et puis la lune a disparu et il a commencé à pleuvoir

J'ai donc tourné les essuie-glaces à fond

Et sur le sac sur ses genoux, j'ai vu le nom d'une grande banque du centre-ville

Et j'ai dit: "Vous n'avez pas à vous soucier de moi ..."

Et quand j'ai allumé les phares,

Juste une minute, j'ai cru que nous nous voyions tous les deux

Sur une île tropicale quelque part

Marcher sur une plage de sable blanc en train de manger quelque chose ...

Nous nous sommes retirés de la circulation dans une rue sombre

Elle fixait ses cheveux dans le miroir

J'ai fait un virage à gauche à un feu jaune

Conduit rapidement mon taxi vers la jetée

Elle est montée à bord du bateau et s'est retournée et m'a fait un bisou

et leter sur quand les voitures de l'équipe sont arrivées

J'ai mangé une poignée d'arachides puis je leur ai dit ça

"Je ne me souviens pas de grand chose ...
