The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air - Will Smith

Now this is a story, all about how my life got flipped - turned upside down,

And i'd like to take a minute,

just sit right there,

I'll tell you howI became the prince of a town called Bel-Air



In West Philadelphia,

born an' raised,

on the playground is where i spent mosta my days,

Chillin out, maxin', relaxin' all cool,

An' all shootin some B-ball outside of the school,

When a couple o' guys who were up to no good,

Started makin' trouble in my neighbourhood,

I got in one little fight and my mom got scared,

She said 'You're movin with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air!'



I begged and pleaded with her day after day,but

she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way

She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket

I put my walkman on and saig 'Id might as well kickin'

First class, 'Yo, this is bad' drinkin orange juice out of a champange glass

'Is this what the people of Bel Air live like?'

'Hmm.. this might be allright!'

The way Id hear the percy, boots white and all

I had to sit as I have a place of they just in this school cat

'I dont think so', 'I see what i get there'

I hope theyre prepared for the Prince of Bel Air!



Well I, tha plain land and when I came out

there was a dude look like a cop standin' there with my name out

'I aint trying to get arrested yet, 'I just got here'

I sprang with the quickness like light has disappeared



I whistled for a cab and when i came near,

The license plate said 'Fresh',

And had dice in the mirror,

If anything i could say that this cab was rare,

But I thought 'Nah, forget it - Yo, home to Bel-Air!'



I pulled up to the house at bout seven or eight,-aca

Maintenant, c'est une histoire, tout sur la façon dont ma vie a été renversée - bouleversée,

Et je voudrais prendre une minute,

asseyez-vous juste là,

Je vais vous dire comment je suis devenu le prince d'une ville appelée Bel-Air



Dans l'ouest de Philadelphie,

sur le terrain de jeu est l'endroit où j'ai passé la plupart de mes jours,

Quand un couple de gars qui n'étaient pas bons,

J'ai commencé à créer des problèmes dans mon quartier,

J'ai eu un petit combat et ma mère a eu peur,

Elle a dit: "Tu bouges avec ta tante et ton oncle à Bel-Air!"



Je l'ai suppliée et suppliée jour après jour, mais

elle a fait ma valise et m'a envoyé sur mon chemin

Elle m'a donné un baiser puis elle m'a donné mon billet

Je mets mon baladeur et saig 'Id pourrait aussi bien donner un coup de pied

Première classe, "Yo, c'est mauvais", boire du jus d'orange dans un verre de champagne

"Est-ce à cela que vivent les habitants de Bel Air?"

"Hmm .. cela pourrait être bien!"

La façon dont j'entends le percy, les bottes blanches et tout

J'ai dû m'asseoir car j'ai une place pour eux juste dans ce chat d'école

"Je ne pense pas", "Je vois ce que j'y arrive"

J'espère qu'ils sont prêts pour le Prince de Bel Air!



Eh bien moi, la plaine et quand je suis sorti

il y avait un mec ressemblant à un flic debout avec mon nom

"Je n'ai pas encore essayé d'être arrêté", je viens juste d'arriver "

J'ai sauté avec la rapidité comme la lumière a disparu



J'ai sifflé pour un taxi et quand je me suis approché,

La plaque d'immatriculation a dit "Fresh",

Et avait des dés dans le miroir,

Si je pouvais dire que ce taxi était rare,

Mais je me suis dit: "Non, oublie ça - Yo, chez Bel-Air!"



Je suis arrivé à la maison vers sept ou huit heures, -aca
