I finished the story of my life

About three a.m. last night

It's the best thing I've ever read

And though the start seemed to drag

You know the middle really wasn't bad

And the end turned out okay



If I had to edit anything

I might reign those chapters in

I spent miserable and afraid

But you know I love the book as a whole

I wouldn't mess around with its soul

Pull a thread and it might come undone

Environ trois heures du matin hier soir

C'est la meilleure chose que j'aie jamais lu

Et même si le début semblait traîner

Tu sais que le milieu n'était vraiment pas mauvais

Et la fin s'est bien passée



Si je devais éditer quelque chose

Je pourrais régner ces chapitres dans

J'ai passé misérable et peur

Mais tu sais que j'aime le livre dans son ensemble

Je ne voudrais pas jouer avec son âme

Tirez un fil et il pourrait se défaire
