From Episode 3--Are You My Neighbor



Narrator: "Our curtain opens as Larry, having just finished his morning

bath, is searching for his hairbrush. Having no success, Larry cries out

.."



Larry: "Oh, where is my hairbrush? Oh where is my hairbrush? Oh, where,

oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh, where, oh,

where oh, where ... is my hairbrush?"



Narrator: "Having heard his cry, Pa Grape enters the scene. Shocked and

slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry in a towel, Pa regains his

composure and reports ..."



Pa: "I think I saw a hairbrush back there!"



Larry: "Back there is my hairbrush. Back there is my hairbrush. Back

there, back there, oh, where, back there, oh, where, oh, where, back

there, back there, back there ... is my hairbrush?"

Narrator: "Having heard his joyous proclamation, Junior Asparagus enters

the scene. Shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry in a

towel, Junior regains his composure and comments ..."



Junior: "Why do you need a hairbrush? You don't have any hair!"



Narrator: "Larry is taken aback. The thought had never occured to him.

No hair? What would this mean? What will become of him? What will become

of his hairbrush? Larry wonders ..."



Larry: "No hair for my hairbrush. No hair for my hairbrush. No hair, no

hair, no where, no hair, no hair, no hair, no where back there, no hair

.. for my hairbrush."



Narrator: "Having heard his wonderings, Bob the Tomato enters the scene.

Shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry in a towel, Bob

regains his composure and confesses ..."



Bob: "Larry, that old hairbrush of yours ... Well, you never use it, you

don't really need it. So, well, I'm sorry ... I didn't know. But I gave

it to the Peach - 'cause he's got hair!"



Narrator: "Feeling a deep sense of loss, Larry stumbles back and laments

.."



Larry: "Not fair! Oh, my hairbrush. Not fair! My poor hairbrush. Not

fair, not fair, no hair, not fair, no where, no hair, not fair, not

fair, not fair! My little hairbrush!"



Narrator: "Having heard his lament, the Peach enters the scene. Himself

in a towel, both Larry and the Peach are shocked and slightly

embarrassed at the sight of each other. But recognizing Larry's

generosity, the Peach is thankful ..."



Peach: "Thanks for the hairbrush."



Narrator: "Yes, good has been done here. The Peach exits the scene.

Larry smiles, but, still feeling an emotional attachment for the

hairbrush, calls out ..."



Larry: "Take care of my hairbrush. Take care, oh my hairbrush. Take

care, take care, don't dare not care. Take care. Nice hair. No fair.

Take care, take care ... of my hairbrush."



Narrator: "The end

Narrateur: "Notre rideau s'ouvre alors que Larry vient de terminer sa matinée

bain, cherche sa brosse à cheveux. N'ayant aucun succès, Larry crie

Larry: "Oh, où est ma brosse à cheveux? Oh, où est ma brosse à cheveux? Oh, où, \u003cbr />
oh, où, oh, où, oh, où, oh, où, oh, où, oh, où, oh,

où oh, où ... est ma brosse à cheveux? "



Narrateur: "Ayant entendu son cri, Pa Grape entre en scène. Choqué et

légèrement gêné à la vue de Larry dans une serviette, Pa retrouve son

calme et rapports ... "



Pa: "Je pense avoir vu une brosse à cheveux là-bas!"



Larry: "En arrière, il y a ma brosse à cheveux. En arrière, il y a ma brosse à cheveux. Retour

là, là-bas, oh, où, là-bas, oh, où, oh, où, retour

là, là-bas, là-bas ... est ma brosse à cheveux? "

Narrateur: "Ayant entendu sa joyeuse proclamation, Junior Asperagus entre

la scène. Choqué et légèrement embarrassé à la vue de Larry dans un

serviette, Junior retrouve son sang-froid et commente ... "



Junior: "Pourquoi avez-vous besoin d'une brosse à cheveux? Vous n'avez pas de cheveux!"



Narrateur: "Larry est décontenancé. La pensée ne lui était jamais venue à l'esprit.

Pas de cheveux? Qu'est-ce que cela signifierait? Que va-t-il devenir? Ce qui va devenir

de sa brosse à cheveux? Larry se demande ... "



Larry: "Pas de cheveux pour ma brosse à cheveux. Pas de cheveux pour ma brosse à cheveux. Pas de cheveux, pas

cheveux, nulle part, pas de cheveux, pas de cheveux, pas de cheveux, nulle part là-bas, pas de cheveux

.. pour ma brosse à cheveux. "



Narrateur: "Ayant entendu ses interrogations, Bob la tomate entre en scène.

Choqué et légèrement embarrassé à la vue de Larry dans une serviette, Bob

retrouve son sang-froid et avoue ... "



Bob: "Larry, ta vieille brosse à cheveux ... Eh bien, tu ne l'utilises jamais, toi

n'en ont pas vraiment besoin. Donc, eh bien, je suis désolé ... je ne savais pas. Mais j'ai donné \u003cbr />
au Peach - parce qu'il a des cheveux! "



Narrateur: "Sentant un profond sentiment de perte, Larry trébuche en arrière et se lamente

.. "



Larry: "Pas juste! Oh, ma brosse à cheveux. Pas juste! Ma pauvre brosse à cheveux. Pas

juste, pas juste, pas de cheveux, pas juste, pas où, pas de cheveux, pas juste, pas

juste, pas juste! Ma petite brosse à cheveux! "



Narrateur: "Ayant entendu sa complainte, le Peach entre en scène. Lui-même

dans une serviette, Larry et Peach sont choqués et légèrement

gênés à la vue de l'autre. Mais reconnaissant le
de Larry
générosité, le Peach est reconnaissant ... "



Peach: "Merci pour la brosse à cheveux."



Narrateur: "Oui, le bien a été fait ici. Le Peach quitte la scène.

Larry sourit, mais, ressentant toujours un attachement émotionnel pour le

brosse à cheveux, appelle ... "



Larry: "Prenez soin de ma brosse à cheveux. Prenez soin, oh ma brosse à cheveux. Prenez

faites attention, prenez garde, n'osez pas vous en soucier. Prends soin de toi. De beaux cheveux. Pas juste.

Prends soin de toi, prends soin de ma brosse à cheveux. "
