I've Got a Ferret

I've got a ferret sticking up my nose.

It starts wriggling when I wear my formal clothes.

How it got there, I can't tell,

But now it's there, it hurts like hell.

And what is more, it radically affects my sense of smell.



I can see a bare-bottomed mandrill

Slyly eyeing my other nostril.

I really don't know what to do,

But if he jumps inside there, too,

I shall be the proud possessor of a kind of nasal zoo.



I've got a ferret sticking up my nose.

It's all right when it is in repose,

But when it starts to move about,

There is really not the slightest doubt.

It tends to irritate the mucous membranes up my snout.

J'ai un furet

J'ai un furet qui me colle le nez.

Ça commence à se tortiller quand je porte mes vêtements formels.

Comment c'est arrivé là, je ne peux pas le dire,

Mais maintenant c'est là, ça fait mal comme l'enfer.

Et en plus, cela affecte radicalement mon odorat.



Je peux voir un mandrill à fond nu

Regardant sournoisement mon autre narine.

Je ne sais vraiment pas quoi faire,

Mais s'il saute aussi à l'intérieur,

Je serai l'heureux possesseur d'une sorte de zoo nasal.



J'ai un furet qui me colle le nez.

Tout va bien quand il est au repos,

Mais quand ça commence à bouger,

Il n'y a vraiment pas le moindre doute.

Il a tendance à irriter les muqueuses de mon museau.
