In the beginning, God created the Heaven and the Earth.

And the Earth was without form and void,

and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

And the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And God said: "Let there be light! "

Long time ago in the days of Noah 5000 years or so

(am) (G) (F) (E)

man was evil darkness ruled, its power seemed to grow.

(am) (G) (F) (E)

A world of sin, can you imagine, as bad as it could be

(am) (G) (F) (E)

But Noah knew the truth all right, 'cause God had made him see

the world was doomed!



But God saw that Noah was a man of faith, who wished to serve him well

He told him: "Noah, I've got a plan for you to save your soul from hell;

build a ship that will be your rescue from extinction, annihilation,

and when I destroy this sinful world, this ship is your only salvation."

Noah waited, Noah waited,

he waited for God's will to be done.

Noah waited,

he trusted God the water would come

And just like Noah we've got at ship, a true salvation:

In Jesus Christ there is life if you believe in Him

You are set free!



He died for you, He paid your price, His life was the cost.

Willing to suffer and shed His blood, that you should not be lost.

But He rose again, death could not hold Him, He promised us to return

and lead us to Heaven, a brand new earth, when this cruel world will burn



And now we'll wait!

We'll wait for the Lord to come back again.

We will wait.

Just like Noah waited for the rain

Au commencement, Dieu créa le ciel et la terre.

Et la Terre était sans forme et vide,

et l'obscurité était sur le visage des profondeurs.

Et l'esprit de Dieu s'est déplacé sur la surface des eaux.

Et Dieu a dit: "Que la lumière soit!"

Il y a longtemps, à l'époque de Noé, environ 5000 ans

l'homme était régné par les ténèbres maléfiques, son pouvoir semblait grandir.

Un monde de péché, pouvez-vous imaginer, aussi mauvais que cela puisse être

Mais Noé connaissait bien la vérité, parce que Dieu lui avait fait voir

le monde était condamné!



Mais Dieu a vu que Noé était un homme de foi, qui voulait bien le servir

Il lui a dit: "Noah, j'ai un plan pour que tu sauves ton âme de l'enfer;

construisez un navire qui vous sauvera de l'extinction, de l'anéantissement,

et quand je détruis ce monde pécheur, ce bateau est votre seul salut. "

Noah a attendu, Noah a attendu,

il a attendu que la volonté de Dieu soit faite.

il avait confiance en Dieu que l'eau viendrait

Et tout comme Noah nous avons à bord, un vrai salut:

En Jésus-Christ, il y a la vie si vous croyez en lui

Vous êtes libéré!



Il est mort pour vous, Il a payé votre prix, Sa vie en a été le prix.

Désireux de souffrir et de verser son sang, pour que vous ne soyez pas perdu.

Mais Il est ressuscité, la mort ne pouvait pas Le retenir, Il nous a promis de revenir

et conduis-nous au paradis, une toute nouvelle terre, quand ce monde cruel brûlera



Et maintenant, nous attendrons!

Nous attendrons que le Seigneur revienne.

Nous attendrons.

Tout comme Noah attendait la pluie
