There's only two songs in me and I just wrote the third

Don't know where I got the inspiration or how I wrote the words

Like he was on TV

So I bought myself some denim pants

And a silver guitar

But I politely told the ladies

"You'll still have to call me Sir

Because I have to keep my self-respect

I'll never be a star

And this is Number Three

Maintenant je suis au milieu comme un oiseau sans bec car

A-t-il déjà eu le blocage de l'écrivain

Ou quelque chose comme la même

Il a juste commencé à parler

Comme s'il était à la télé

"S'il n'y a que deux chansons en toi, mon garçon

Qu'est-ce que tu veux de moi? "



Je me suis donc acheté un pantalon en denim

Et une guitare en argent

Mais je l'ai dit poliment aux dames

"Vous devrez toujours m'appeler Monsieur

Parce que je dois garder mon amour-propre

Je ne serai jamais une star

Puisqu'il n'y a que deux chansons en moi

Et c'est le numéro trois
