I saw your soul in your picture

you brought life to a cold and uncaring thing

a smile that reached out through the thousand pages

all that was you staring back at me

on my screen



here's to all of those

who've lost themselves through the ages

to every silent ghost screaming for release

when all of those lost loves have

finally betrayed us
