Tiger Hunt - Sesame Street

Ernie: Hey everybody! I'm going on a tiger hunt! I've got my trusty rusty telescope right here (squeaking noises in background). You wanna come along? Well, let's go then. (sound of door opening)



A tiger hunt can be fun, you just do what I do. Now first we're gonna walk down this road. Of course, you're not really on a road but you can pretend. Just stand up and walk around the room or walk in place without really going anywhere. Come on now, everybody walk. Are you walking with me? Good!



Okay, now we've got to climb this hill. Oh ... hee ... this is hard. Are you climbing with me? Good. There now here we are at the top of the hill. And now we can run down! Are you running with me? Okay!



Watch out there's a fence at the bottom of the hill, we'll have to jump it ... Alley-oop! We made it! Oh oh, we're here. we're walking through the tiger jungle. Oh boy. Oh there are a lot of mosquitoes here! Shoo mosquitoes! Shoo those mosquitoes away! Oh there's some on my arm. Slap those mosquitoes if they land on you. There, that's better.



Hey look, we've come to a big thicket of thorns. We're gonna have to crawl on our tummies to get through these thorns. You crawling with me? Good! Oops, I'm caught on a thorn (ripping sound) ooh ... there. Now we can get up because we're at the other side of the thicket and ... what is this?



We've come to the great jungle river! We're gonna have to swim for it. Ready to dive into the water? Ready, get set, jump! (splashing sounds) Here we go, swimming across the river! Oh my trusty rusty telescope is going to get even rustier. There, there, we made it. Okay, walk up on to the river bank. Here, oh look over there. It's a bunch of elephants. We'd better tiptoe past them. Are you tiptoeing with me? Good! There, okay now we're past the elephants. We should be near the tiger's house. Let's climb that tree so we can look around. You climbing with me? Okay. Here we go. All right, now here we are high in the tree. Let's look through my trusty rusty telescope and try to find that tiger. Look to the right. Look to the left. Look down ... hmmm ... I don't see a tiger.



Mr. Tiger: Good afternoon!



Ernie: Oops. There's a big furry striped animal in this tree with us.



Mr. Tiger: Roar!



Ernie: It's a tiger! RUN! Climb down the tree as fast as you can. He's following us - Run! Tiptoe past the elephants. Run down the river bank. Swim the jungle river. Climb up and cross through the thicket of thorns. Then slap the mosquitoes away. And run through the jungle. Now jump over the fence. Now run up the hill. Now run down the hill. Now open the door and (sound of door closing) ooh ... ahh ... we made it ... we're home ...



Bert: Hey, hi Ernie. Where you been?



Ernie: Oh Bert, don't ask!



(knocking on door)



Bert: Oh, I'll get it Ernie.



(sound of door opening)



Mr. Tiger: Roar!



Bert: Hi, Mr. Tiger. What do you want?



Mr. Tiger: Ernie forgot his trusty rusty telescope in my jungle!



(door closes)



Ernie: Oh, oh Bert!

Ernie: Salut tout le monde! Je pars à la chasse au tigre! J'ai mon fidèle télescope rouillé ici (des bruits de grincement en arrière-plan). Tu veux venir? Eh bien, allons-y alors. (bruit d'ouverture de porte)



Une chasse au tigre peut être amusante, il suffit de faire ce que je fais. Maintenant, nous allons d'abord emprunter cette route. Bien sûr, vous n'êtes pas vraiment sur une route mais vous pouvez faire semblant. Il suffit de se lever et de marcher dans la pièce ou de marcher sur place sans vraiment aller nulle part. D'accord, maintenant nous devons gravir cette colline. Oh ... hé ... c'est dur. Tu grimpes avec moi? Bien. Là, nous voici maintenant au sommet de la colline. Et maintenant, nous pouvons nous épuiser! Courez-vous avec moi? D'accord!



Attention il y a une clôture au bas de la colline, il va falloir la sauter ... Alley-oop! On l'a fait! Oh oh, nous sommes ici. nous marchons à travers la jungle du tigre. Oh mec. Oh, il y a beaucoup de moustiques ici! Shoo les moustiques! Chassez ces moustiques! Oh, il y en a sur mon bras. Frappez ces moustiques s'ils atterrissent sur vous. Voilà, c'est mieux.



Hé, regardez, nous sommes arrivés à un grand bosquet d'épines. Nous allons devoir ramper sur nos ventre pour traverser ces épines. Tu rampes avec moi? Bien! Oups, je suis pris dans une épine (son déchirant) ooh ... là. Maintenant, nous pouvons nous lever parce que nous sommes de l'autre côté du fourré et ... qu'est-ce que c'est?



Nous sommes arrivés à la grande rivière jungle! Nous allons devoir nager pour ça. Prêt à plonger dans l'eau? Prêt, prêt, saute! (éclaboussures de sons) C'est parti, nageant à travers la rivière! Oh mon fidèle télescope rouillé va devenir encore plus rouillé. Là, là, nous l'avons fait. D'accord, montez sur la rive du fleuve. Ici, oh regarde là-bas. C'est une bande d'éléphants. Nous ferions mieux de passer sur la pointe des pieds. Êtes-vous sur la pointe des pieds avec moi? Bien! Voilà, maintenant nous avons dépassé les éléphants. Nous devrions être près de la maison du tigre. Grimpons sur cet arbre pour regarder autour de nous. Tu grimpes avec moi? D'accord. Et c'est parti. Très bien, maintenant nous sommes là haut dans l'arbre. Regardons à travers mon fidèle télescope rouillé et essayons de trouver ce tigre. Regardez à droite. Regardez à gauche. Regardez en bas ... hmmm ... Je ne vois pas de tigre.



M. Tiger: Bonjour!



Ernie: Oups. Il y a un gros animal à fourrure dans cet arbre avec nous.



M. Tiger: Roar!



Ernie: C'est un tigre! COURIR! Descendez de l'arbre aussi vite que possible. Il nous suit - Courez! La pointe des pieds devant les éléphants. Descendez la rive du fleuve. Nagez dans la rivière jungle. Montez et traversez le fourré d'épines. Ensuite, éloignez les moustiques. Et courir à travers la jungle. Maintenant, sautez par-dessus la clôture. Maintenant, montez la colline. Maintenant, descendez la colline. Maintenant, ouvrez la porte et (bruit de fermeture de la porte) ooh ... ahh ... nous l'avons fait ... nous sommes à la maison ...



Bert: Salut, salut Ernie. Où étais-tu?



Ernie: Oh Bert, ne demande pas!



(frappe à la porte)



Bert: Oh, je vais le chercher Ernie.



(bruit d'ouverture de porte)



M. Tiger: Roar!



Bert: Salut, M. Tiger. Qu'est-ce que vous voulez?



M. Tiger: Ernie a oublié son fidèle télescope rouillé dans ma jungle!



(la porte se ferme)



Ernie: Oh, oh Bert!
