Kermit: Hi-oh, this is Kermit The Frog here and I'm in a doctor's office, where I'm here to get a medical checkup. That's why I'm wearing this strange, kind of garment thing. (the doctor walks in the door behind Kermit and he looks rather froglike, I must say)



Doctor: Oh, hi, Kermit.



Kermit: Hi, Doc.



Doctor: Now let's get started.



Kermit: Okay.



Doctor: Okay? First of all, we're going to use this stethoscope here to listen to your heart.



Kermit: Ooooo.



Doctor: Yup. (places stethoscope on Kermit's chest) Here we go. (we now hear the loud beating of his heart) Take a deep breath. (Kermit does) Okay, breathe out. (He does) Ahhhh.



Kermit: What's it sound like?



Doctor: Oh, groovy!



Kermit: Groovy?!



Doctor: Perfect, beautiful! I mean, Kermit, the sound of your heart is music to my ears.



(right on cue, the music starts, the beat sounding like a heart. As the doc starts to sing, two frog-like nurses pop up from behind the table to Kermit's right and Kermit's left foot starts tapping in the air)

Nurses: (as doc sticks stethoscope on Kermit's chest again)

It goes (thump-thump, thump-thump)

Doctor: So if you hear (turns to look at clock)

(tick tock, tick tock)

That's a clock tick-tocking

If you hear (knocks heard on door, a nurse opens it)

That is someone knocking (a puppy dog walks in the open door)

If you hear

(bark-bark, bark-bark-bark)

That's a barking dog

But (stethoscope against Kermit's chest)

(thump-thump, thump-thump)

Doctor: Now if you hear

(crunch, crunch, crunch)

(we see a nurse munching on a carrot)

That's the sound of chewing

(cow walks in next to chewing nurse)

That's a cow a'mooing

(cow tries to munch carrot)

(the dog comes in on the nurse's other side)

That's a barking dog

(the nurse spins around as both animals try to grab the carrot)

(nurse walks in with baby frog wrapped in a blankie)

Doctor: Very good, thank you, thank you one and all. Thank you. Thank you, cow.

(the animals and nurses leave the room)

Okay, Kermit, we've checked your heart, now let's check your ribbet. Say, "ribbet"



Kermit: Ribbet, ribbet.



Doctor: Very good, now, we'll check your hops, so hop off here ... (Kermit scoots over the back of the table, legs flying in the air for a minute, lands standing up) ... very good, now hop for me.



Kermit: (hopping) Hop.



Doctor: Again.



Kermit: Hop.



Doctor: Again.



Kermit: Hop.



Doctor: Again. (fades out as Kermit continues hopping)

(parlé)



Kermit: Salut-oh, voici Kermit The Frog ici et je suis dans un cabinet de médecin, où je suis ici pour un examen médical. C'est pourquoi je porte cette étrange sorte de vêtement. (le docteur entre dans la porte derrière Kermit et il a l'air plutôt grenouille, je dois dire)



Docteur: Oh, salut, Kermit.



Kermit: Salut, Doc.



Docteur: Maintenant, commençons.



Kermit: D'accord.



Docteur: D'accord? Tout d'abord, nous allons utiliser ce stéthoscope ici pour écouter votre c?ur.



Kermit: Ooooo.



Docteur: Ouaip. (place un stéthoscope sur la poitrine de Kermit) C'est parti. (nous entendons maintenant les battements bruyants de son c?ur) Respirez profondément. (Kermit le fait) D'accord, expirez. (Il le fait) Ahhhh.



Kermit: À quoi ça ressemble?



Docteur: Oh, groovy!



Kermit: Groovy?!



Docteur: Parfait, beau! Je veux dire, Kermit, le son de ton c?ur est de la musique à mes oreilles.



(juste au bon moment, la musique commence, le rythme sonne comme un c?ur. Alors que le doc commence à chanter, deux infirmières ressemblant à des grenouilles surgissent de derrière la table à droite de Kermit et le pied gauche de Kermit commence à taper dans l'air)

Médecin et infirmières: Oh, bébé, bébé, écoute le c?ur d'une grenouille

Infirmières: (comme doc colle de nouveau le stéthoscope sur la poitrine de Kermit)

Ça va (thump-thump, thump-thump)

Docteur: Donc, si vous entendez (se tourne pour regarder l'horloge)

(tic tac, tic tac)

C'est une horloge qui fait tic-tac

Si vous entendez (des coups sont entendus à la porte, une infirmière l'ouvre)

C'est quelqu'un qui frappe (un chiot marche dans la porte ouverte)

Si vous entendez

C'est un chien qui aboie

Mais (stéthoscope contre la poitrine de Kermit)

Docteur: Maintenant, si vous entendez

(nous voyons une infirmière grignoter une carotte)

(une vache entre à côté d'une infirmière en train de mâcher)

C'est une vache qui brasse

(la vache essaie de grignoter la carotte)

(le chien arrive de l'autre côté de l'infirmière)

(l'infirmière se retourne pendant que les deux animaux tentent d'attraper la carotte)

Docteur: Très bien, maintenant, nous allons vérifier vos houblons, alors descendez ici ... (Kermit se déplace sur le dos de la table, les jambes volent dans les airs pendant une minute, atterrit debout) ... très bien, maintenant hop pour moi.



Kermit: (sautillant) Hop.



Docteur: Encore une fois.
