For they dream of a thousand tomorrows

Each one better than the one before

A future filled with compassion

For the tired, the weak, the hungry and the poor

Who no longer answer when we ask why

Who work to make their world better

And are unefraid to try

What whall we say to the dreamers

Whose lives make ours seem so bare

Who make us feel so empty

Because they dare to care

For they dream not of thing done before

But of the miracles which lie ahaid

Of the needy who can be assisted

And the famshed who can be fed



What shall we make of the dreamers

When they choose not to live as we

When they say our world has no meaning

As long as others are still not free

What shall we think of the dreamers

When they no longer listen to what we say

When their silence leaves us uneasy

And they refuse to go away



For they dream of fanciful figures

Poised in mid-flight

Angels with Wings of Grace

Floating on the light

Messengers from the next world

So unfamiliar but yet not strange

Bringing word of the New World

The begginnin of the change

Car ils rêvent de mille jours

Chacun mieux que le précédent

Un avenir rempli de compassion

Pour les fatigués, les faibles, les affamés et les pauvres



Que ferons-nous avec les rêveurs

Qui ne répond plus quand on demande pourquoi

Qui travaillent pour rendre leur monde meilleur

Et n'ont pas peur d'essayer

Que dirons-nous aux rêveurs

Dont la vie rend la nôtre si nue

Qui nous fait sentir si vide

Parce qu'ils osent s'en soucier

Car ils ne rêvent de rien de fait avant

Mais des miracles qui se cachent

Des nécessiteux qui peuvent être aidés

Et les famshed qui peuvent être nourris

Quand ils choisissent de ne pas vivre comme nous

Quand ils disent que notre monde n'a pas de sens

Tant que les autres ne sont toujours pas libres

Que penser des rêveurs

Quand ils n'écoutent plus ce que nous disons

Quand leur silence nous laisse mal à l'aise

Et ils refusent de s'en aller



Car ils rêvent de personnages fantaisistes

Empoisonné en plein vol

Anges aux ailes de grâce

Flottant sur la lumière

Messagers du prochain monde

Si inconnu mais pas étrange

Faire connaître le Nouveau Monde

Le début du changement
