The Human Abstract - Neglected Fields

He sits down with holy fears

And waters the ground with tears

Then Humility takes it's root

Underneath his foot?

Soon spreads the dismal shade

Of Mystery over his head

And the catterpiller and fly

Feed on the Mystery



And it bears the fruit of Deceit

Ruddy and so fucking sweat to eat;

And the Raven his nest has made

In it's thickest shade



The Gods of the earth and sea

Sought thro'Nature to find this Tree

But their search was all in vain

There grows one in the Human Brain



Whene'er didst taste Thou the

Fruit of Deceite and of Human Abstract-

Transitory

It's sweet...

Bitter, tart and wormy

Does the Eagle know what is in the pit?

Or wilt thou go ask the worm?

Can Wisdom be put in a silver rod or bowl?

Until a thousand spirits go astray in dark

..."The human form, eternally abstract".

Il s'assied avec de saintes peurs

Et arrose le sol de larmes

Alors l'humilité prend racine

Sous son pied?

Se répand bientôt l'ombre lugubre

Du mystère au-dessus de sa tête

Et la chenille et la mouche

Nourris-toi du mystère



Et il porte le fruit de la tromperie

Ruddy et tellement de sueur à manger;

Et le corbeau que son nid a fait

Dans sa teinte la plus épaisse



Les dieux de la terre et de la mer

Recherche thro'Nature pour trouver cet arbre

Mais leur recherche a été vaine

Il en pousse un dans le cerveau humain



Quand tu t'es goûté le

Fruit de la tromperie et de l'abstrait humain-

Transitoire

C'est doux ...

Amer, acidulé et vermifuge

L'aigle sait-il ce qu'il y a dans la fosse?

Ou vas-tu demander au ver?

La sagesse peut-elle être placée dans une tige ou un bol en argent?

Jusqu'à ce que mille esprits s'égarent dans le noir

... "La forme humaine, éternellement abstraite".
