I was... had a day off, so I, I wanted to go to the country,

and that wasn't very difficult because the country was...

And I walked outside my door and I saw a big cow and I said,

"Oh, moo, you know, don't you, you know that I don't eat cows?"

And the cow didn't say anything except: "Mmmm, Melanie".

And so, and so I wrote him this song,

and I wrote it really for all the cows.

J'ai écrit cette chanson à Columbus, Missouri.

J'étais ... eu un jour de congé, donc je, je voulais aller à la campagne,

et ce n'était pas très difficile car le pays était ...

Columbus, Missouri est le pays.

Et j'ai marché devant ma porte et j'ai vu une grosse vache et j'ai dit,

"Oh, moo, tu sais, n'est-ce pas, tu sais que je ne mange pas de vaches?"

Et la vache n'a rien dit sauf: "Mmmm, Mélanie".

Et donc, et donc je lui ai écrit cette chanson,

et je l'ai écrit vraiment pour toutes les vaches.
