Harvest - Kromlek

As I touched the soil I felt they taught me to feel
And as I watched the sun I saw what they taught me to see
And as I smelled the air I smelled what they taught me to smell
But as I swallowed the lake I felt nothing for these was nothing they taught
me

I don't belong to where I come from
With veins like roots reaching no water

I judge myself for being victim
I curse them for what they have taught me
I blame the gods for not intervening
I curse myself for judging the gods

I'm not bound to the hammer
I don't need a shepherd
What I need is spittle
From the serpent

As long as I've pulled my plough upon frozen soil
I was tormented by feelings of senselessness
But now the the ravens' rise - this is my harvest!!!
I see the boiling blood-fountains out of a reawakening earth!

May my muscles be ashes
To become one with the soil
May my excusing body
Fertilize the future grounds

En touchant le sol, j'ai senti qu'ils m'ont appris à ressentir
Et en regardant le soleil, j'ai vu ce qu'ils m'ont appris à voir
Et en sentant l'air, j'ai senti ce qu'ils m'ont appris à sentir
Mais en avalant le lac, je n'ai rien ressenti car ce n'était rien qu'ils enseignaient
moi

Je n'appartiens pas d'où je viens
Avec des veines comme des racines sans eau

Je me juge pour être victime
Je les maudis pour ce qu'ils m'ont appris
Je blâme les dieux de ne pas intervenir
Je me maudis d'avoir jugé les dieux

Je ne suis pas lié au marteau
Je n'ai pas besoin d'un berger
J'ai besoin de crachats
Du serpent

Tant que j'ai tiré ma charrue sur un sol gelé
J'étais tourmenté par des sentiments d'insensé
Mais maintenant la montée des corbeaux - c'est ma récolte !!!
Je vois les fontaines de sang bouillantes sur une terre qui se réveille!

Que mes muscles soient des cendres
Devenir un avec le sol
Que mon corps excusant
Fertiliser les futurs terrains
