To Whom It May Concern - King Diamond

I am scared to death. 9 years ago they finally let me out, and I
was just beginning to feel better. I am not Myself any longer.
I guess You could not even recognize My face if You saw Me now.
That phone call 2 hours ago has torn Me apart. It was Grandma.
She invited Me back to the old house. I do not want to go back,
but I must. Maybe You will understand My fear if I tell
You what happened during My childhood.

18 years ago I was living with My mother and
My sister Missy in Grandma's old house. I had
been told that Grandma was away on a long vacation,
and that she would soon return. She did.

I have later found out that she was actually being released
from that same asylum. "She's insane", they said, when she
kept on babbling about "THEM". I still cannot make up
My mind about who really did separate Grandpa's head
from his shoulders. You see, "THEY" were always so
nice to Me.

Anyway, time is short and I must leave for the old
house. So here is what happened 18 years ago. And
in case we never see each other again, at least You
will know why.

I bet we are going to have tea.

J'ai peur de la mort. Il y a 9 ans, ils m'ont finalement laissé sortir, et je
commençait juste à se sentir mieux. Je ne suis plus moi-même.

Cet appel téléphonique d'il y a 2 heures m'a déchiré. C'était grand-mère.
Elle M'a invité à retourner dans la vieille maison. Je ne veux pas revenir en arrière
mais je dois. Peut-être que tu comprendras ma peur si je dis
Vous ce qui s'est passé pendant mon enfance.

Il y a 18 ans, je vivais avec ma mère et
Ma s?ur Missy dans la vieille maison de grand-mère. j'ai eu
on m'a dit que grand-mère était partie pour de longues vacances,
et qu'elle reviendrait bientôt. Elle l'a fait.

J'ai appris plus tard qu'elle était en fait libérée
de ce même asile. "Elle est folle", disaient-ils, quand elle
continué à babiller à propos de "EUX". Je n'arrive toujours pas à me rattraper
Mon esprit sur qui a vraiment séparé la tête de grand-père
de ses épaules. Vous voyez, "ILS" l'ont toujours été
bon pour moi.

Bref, le temps presse et je dois partir pour l'ancien
maison. Voici donc ce qui s'est passé il y a 18 ans. Et
au cas où on ne se reverrait jamais, au moins toi
saura pourquoi.

Je parie que nous allons prendre le thé.
