January eighth, two thousand and two

Dear Diary, I write this in hopes

that the universe will finally recieve me with open arms.

Oh opposition, how long will you continue?

Opposition, how many tears must you draw?

But know this, not every tear that has graced my cheek has been

a tear of confrontation, but some have been tears of joy.

So on this eighth day of the new year, 3:41 central time,

I stand confident, Oh my God of great goodness,

is it possible just maybe, that i can write half-way intelligent

lyrics and make music that people might possibly like?

Is that possible?

Is it possible that what I do is what I want to actually do,

and not the result of selling out? heh

Cher journal, j'écris ceci dans l'espoir

que l'univers me recevra enfin à bras ouverts.

Oh opposition, combien de temps allez-vous continuer?

Opposition, combien de larmes faut-il tirer?

Mais sachez ceci, toutes les larmes qui ont orné ma joue ne l'ont pas été

une larme de confrontation, mais certains ont été des larmes de joie.

Donc en ce huitième jour de la nouvelle année, 3h41 heure centrale,

Je suis confiant, Oh mon Dieu de grande bonté,

est-il possible juste peut-être que je puisse écrire à moitié intelligent

paroles et faire de la musique que les gens pourraient aimer?

Est-ce possible?

Est-il possible que ce que je fais soit ce que je veux réellement faire,

et pas le résultat de la vente? heh
