Away in a manger, no crib for a bed

The little Lord Jesus lay down his sweet head

The stars in the bright sky looked down where He lay

The little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay



The cattle are lowing, the poor baby wakes

But little Lord Jesus no crying he makes

I love the Lord Jesus, look down from the sky

And stay by my cradle 'till morning is nigh



Be near me Lord Jesus, I ask thee to stay

Close by me forever, and love me I pray

Bless all the dear Children in thy tender care

And fit us for heaven to live with the there

Le petit Seigneur Jésus a posé sa douce tête

Les étoiles dans le ciel brillant ont regardé vers le bas où Il était allongé \u003cbr />
Le petit Seigneur Jésus endormi sur le foin



Le bétail baisse, le pauvre bébé se réveille

Mais le petit Seigneur Jésus ne pleure pas, il fait

J'adore le Seigneur Jésus, regarde du ciel

Et reste près de mon berceau jusqu'au matin est proche



Sois près de moi Seigneur Jésus, je te demande de rester

Près de moi pour toujours, et aime-moi, je prie

Bénis tous les chers enfants dans tes tendres soins

Et nous adapter au paradis pour vivre avec là-bas
