They crossed the Yukon river and they found the bonanza gold

Sam crossed the Majestic mountains to the valleys far below

He talked to his team of huskies

Au-dessous de cette vieille montagne blanche

Juste un peu au sud-est de Nome

Sam a traversé les montagnes majestueuses jusqu'aux vallées loin en contrebas

Il a parlé à son équipe de huskies

Alors qu'il se traînait dans la neige

Avec les lumières du nord qui courent sauvage

Au pays du soleil de minuit

Oui, Sam McCord était un homme puissant
