The Everlasting Battle - Hildr Valkyrie

Once, there was a war, between two men
Fighting at the slain, day by day
Their dead men, rising again
By the virgins magic spells
Battle began, for a woman
Daughter and wife, respectively

When king was away at the assembly

Gathered his host, one by one
The great hunting, has began

That her father didn't want peace

So it began, and the armies
Of two men, arrayed at the fields
But Hedinn tried for peace (once again)
Offered (a) fortune at the king

That is made, by the dwarves
Ordered to kill, every men

- You boast, for your sword
But victory, won't be yours

C'est fait par les nains
Ordonné de tuer, tous les hommes
Atteignez la lame et ne manque jamais (l'épée)

- Vous vous vantez, pour votre épée
Mais la victoire ne sera pas la vôtre
Alors j'appelle n'importe quelle épée
Peut obéir c'est Seigneur
Et le bain de sang a commencé

Les deux, des armées de rois, se sont réunis dans les champs
Se battre contre les tués, toute la journée
Quand la nuit est arrivée, les navires sont revenus
Laissant derrière tous les morts
Alors que la pleine lune rampait vers le ciel
Au-dessus de l'horizon sombre
Fille et femme, marchaient parmi les morts
