And now, the end is near,

And so I face the final curtain.

My friends, I'll say it clear;

I'll state my case of which I'm certain.



I've lived a life that's full -

I've travelled each and every highway.

And more, much more than this,

Regrets? I've had a few,

J'ai adoré, j'ai ri et pleuré,

J'ai eu ma faim - ma part de perdre.

Mais maintenant, alors que les larmes se calment,

Je trouve ça si amusant.



Dire que j'ai fait tout ça,

Et puis-je dire, pas de manière timide -
