The rooks jumped back as he attacked the castles
the bishops acted too casual as Pawn broke the actual
Moving uncontrollably swarming the board
Slashing axes hatchets knives daggers and swords
Furiously forward his momentum was growing
Not aware of the rules he's broken
Cause he never chose to know them
Overflowing with passion
Having to have action
Battling to the end of the board
Just to turn and battle back again
Ask a friend
Cause everybody knows one
One pawn who won't stop

Pawn's battered and bleeding
Badly beaten
Sadly treated to treason
Dragging back to even
Still can't see retreating
Bloodied and battered
Utterly savage
Ugly and back sagging
Suddenly saddened is the attack addict

He's back at it.

Overflowing omens without knowing where he's going
Only led, only stolen by what's shown him
Forever roaming
Never homing in on nothing
But he's gotta turn this sight into something
