Aren't you tired of those non-sexist languager birds?

To avoid saying "man," they invent their own words.

They say "flagperson," "draftsperson," "salesperson" too,

When "flagger" and "drafter" and "seller" would do.



They say "their" when the singular word's in demand,

As in "Each one in favour will please raise their hand."

Let's invent some new words without trousers or skirts,

Three neutral-sex pronouns like "heesh," "herm" and "hirts."



So "herm" stands for "him and/or her" in my file,

As in "Give herm and inch, heesh'll take a whole mile."

"Will each one please place hirts own hat on the shelf,"

And "Ask herm, because heesh can speak for hermself.



And finally to Dumphries, in Scotland the brave,

To hear Robbie Burns turn around in his grave

When he hears someinclusive young languager chat:

"A perrrrson's a perrrrson for Ahh-hhh-hhh that."

N'êtes-vous pas fatigué de ces oiseaux langueurs non sexistes?

Pour éviter de dire "homme", ils inventent leurs propres mots.

Ils disent aussi "signaleur", "dessinateur", "vendeur",

Quand "signaleur", "rédacteur" et "vendeur" feraient l'affaire.



Ils disent "leur" quand le mot singulier est demandé,

Comme dans "Chacun en faveur voudra bien lever la main."

Inventons de nouveaux mots sans pantalon ni jupe,

Trois pronoms de sexe neutre comme heesh, herm et hirts.



Donc "herm" signifie "lui et / ou elle" dans mon dossier,

Comme dans "Donnez un pouce et l'autre, heesh prendra un kilomètre entier."

"Est-ce que chacun placera son chapeau sur l'étagère,"

Et "Demandez à Herm, car heesh peut parler pour lui-même.



Et enfin à Dumphries, en Ecosse les courageux,

Entendre Robbie Burns se retourner dans sa tombe

Quand il entend une discussion exclusive avec un jeune langueur:

"Un perrrrson est un perrrrson pour Ahh-hhh-hhh ça."
