Well it's early in the mornin' and it's time to make a start

And I put my poly surfboard on the rack upon my car

I head down to the surfside, where the waves are makin' fine

I'm gonna catch a mountain but I won't go down the mine



You gotta walk the plank, ride the hook

And now the time is growin' near, you're movin' down the wall

As steady as she goes, you got your toes upon the nose

And now you've hit the beach and your feelin' mighty fine

You turn your board around for the second time

You make it out the back, the swells are comin' fast

The first ones are too small, and so you take the last

Et bien c'est tôt le matin et il est temps de commencer

Et j'ai posé ma planche de surf poly sur le support de ma voiture

Je me dirige vers le surfside, où les vagues vont bien

Je vais attraper une montagne mais je ne descendrai pas la mine

Et maintenant le temps approche, vous vous déplacez le long du mur

Aussi stable qu'elle va, vous avez vos orteils sur le nez

Et maintenant tu en pends cinq, cinq,

Et maintenant tu as frappé la plage et tu te sens très bien

Vous retournez votre planche pour la deuxième fois

Vous vous en sortez à l'arrière, la houle arrive vite

Les premiers sont trop petits, donc vous prenez le dernier

Et quand la journée est finie et que tous les surfeurs se retrouvent

Vous descendez au club de surf pour danser, piétiner et battre

Et quand la nuit est finie, vous entendez les gars dire

N'oubliez pas demain, vous avez un autre jour
