She's hard to get started

She's always so cold

In the mornings I find her -

She's looking so old

There's so many miles

I've been down that road once or twice

She's not much to look at

When we ride thru town

But I know when the chips fall

She won't let me down

She knows how to run

And she don't run around on her man



She's a high flyin' lady

She takes me where I want to be

There's no other woman

Standing between her and me

I'll always be faithful

And keep her 'til the end of time

God knows I'll always love

That old Panhead of mine



I've seen fancy dressers

And they've caught my eye

I rode'em to ride'em

Then I told them goodbye

I flirted with Low Riders

Sportsters and Shovelheads too

I cussed her and beat her

And kicked her to just get her started

A couple of times

Elle est difficile à démarrer

Elle est toujours si froide

Le matin, je la trouve -

Elle a l'air si vieille

Il y a tellement de kilomètres

J'ai parcouru cette route une ou deux fois

Elle n'a pas grand chose à regarder

Quand nous roulons à travers la ville

Mais je sais quand les jetons tombent

Elle ne me laissera pas tomber

Elle sait comment courir

Et elle ne court pas sur son homme



C'est une grande dame volante

Elle m'emmène où je veux être

Il n'y a pas d'autre femme

Debout entre elle et moi

Je serai toujours fidèle

Et garde-la jusqu'à la fin des temps

Dieu sait que j'aimerai toujours

Ce vieux Panhead à moi



J'ai vu des commodes fantaisie

Et ils ont attiré mon attention

Je les ai roulés pour les monter

Puis je leur ai dit au revoir

J'ai flirté avec Low Riders

Sportsters et Shovelheads aussi

Je l'ai battue et battue

Et je lui ai donné un coup de pied pour qu'elle commence juste

Quelques fois

Dieu sait que j'aimerai toujours

Ce vieux Panhead à moi.
