it's a wet and windy day

a day to lose or through away

it makes me wonder why we

ever got up at all

there's not a lot to do at home

we've done it all before

another wested sunday

sitting waiting for monday

we had it planned a different way

but always it's the same

at least the wind is warmer

when it brings the rain



but if it's green in the park

and it's still warm after dark

and if the man who keeps it tidy

don't come around

we'll just walk beneath the trees

hand in hand

just you and me

and if the grass is drying we'll

sit upon the ground



done all there's it to do at home

there's nothing left at all

another wasted sunday

in seven this is the one day

that nothing seems to go my way



but if it's green in the park

and it's still warm after dark

and if the man who keeps it

tidy don't come around

we'll just walk beneath the trees

and if the grass is dry

we'll sit upon the ground

c'est une journée pluvieuse et venteuse

une journée à perdre ou à travers

ça me fait me demander pourquoi nous

jamais levé du tout

il n'y a pas grand chose à faire à la maison

nous avons tout fait avant

un autre dimanche d'ouest

assis en attendant lundi

nous l'avions prévu d'une manière différente

mais c'est toujours pareil

au moins le vent est plus chaud

quand il pleut



mais si c'est vert dans le parc

et il fait encore chaud après la tombée de la nuit

et si l'homme qui le garde bien rangé \u003cbr />
ne viens pas

nous allons juste marcher sous les arbres

main dans la main

juste toi et moi

et si l'herbe sèche, nous

s'asseoir par terre



fait tout ce qu'il y a à faire à la maison

il ne reste plus rien du tout

un autre dimanche perdu

assis en attendant lundi

dans sept c'est le seul jour

que rien ne semble me passer



mais si c'est vert dans le parc

bien rangé ne vient pas

nous allons juste marcher sous les arbres

main dans la main juste toi et moi

et si l'herbe est sèche

nous allons nous asseoir par terre
