Innisfree - Clandestine

I will arise and go now,

And go to Innisfree,

And a small cabin build there,

Of clay and wattles made.

Nine bean rows will I have there,

A hive for the honey-bee

And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

And I shall have some peace there,

For peace comes dropping slow,

Dropping from the veils of morning,

To where the cricket sings.

And midnight's all a-glimmer

And noon a purple glow

And evening's full of the linnet's wings.

I will arise and go now,

For always, night and day,

I hear lake water lapping

With low sounds by the shore.

While standing on the roadway,

Or on the pavements gray,

I hear it in the deep heart's core.

Je vais me lever et partir maintenant,

Et allez à Innisfree,

Et une petite cabine construite là-bas,

En argile et caroncules faites.

J'aurai neuf lignes de haricots là-bas,

Une ruche pour l'abeille domestique

Et vivre seul dans la clairière bruyante.

Et j'aurai un peu de paix là-bas,

Car la paix descend lentement,

Laissant les voiles du matin,

Là où chante le grillon.

Et minuit est tout une lueur

Et midi une lueur violette

Et la soirée est pleine d'ailes de linnet.

Je vais me lever et partir maintenant,

Pour toujours, nuit et jour,

J'entends clapoter l'eau du lac

Avec des sons graves au bord du rivage.

En se tenant sur la chaussée,

Ou sur les trottoirs gris,

Je l'entends au plus profond du c?ur.
