The Painter - Chris Deburgh

I'd like you to meet my last queen,

over there large as life

She's been hanging there for almost a week,

my poor late wife;



What do think of the colour of her skin,

and for that picture in her bedroom she would pose;

Vous n'avez jamais entendu un tel affichage,

Mais cela ne le dérangeait pas qu'il prenait son temps,

c'est moi qui ai dû payer,

"Oh Madame, je pense que nous devrions nous promener dans les bois,

vous comprenez que c'est la lumière ",

Et est-ce que ça me dérange, non, j'étais si gentil quand ils,

est revenu au milieu de la nuit,

et je jure que je m'occuperai du peintre, Oh le peintre ...



Eh bien, comme vous pouvez le voir, cela a été difficile pour moi,
