Why Bother - Atheist

Stop and look around at politics

No, nothing's changed, it still remains

The same old fear, the things we hear

I've heard enough, I won't adhere



Why bother voting

It won't do us any good

Octogenarian leaders

Telling us they would



I know that there's got to be a way

There's not that much that you or I can say

To make a dent in the land of the free

The darker side of life they never see



Election time is here, but do you care?

It's not our choice, we cannot voice

If they won't hear, the issue's clear

A more modern plan to run this land

Arrêtez-vous et regardez autour de la politique

Non, rien n'a changé, il reste encore

La même vieille peur, les choses que nous entendons

J'en ai assez entendu, je n'adhérerai pas



Pourquoi prendre la peine de voter

Cela ne nous fera aucun bien

Dirigeants octogénaires

Nous disant qu'ils le feraient



Je sais qu'il doit y avoir un moyen

Il n'y a pas grand-chose que vous ou moi pouvons dire

Faire une brèche au pays du libre

Le côté sombre de la vie qu'ils ne voient jamais



Le temps des élections est arrivé, mais vous en souciez-vous?

Ce n'est pas notre choix, nous ne pouvons pas exprimer

S'ils n'entendent pas, le problème est clair

Un plan plus moderne pour gérer cette terre
