I was alone in my room feeling sorry for myself.

Call me a prophet of doom, i could think of nothing else.

I found a freudian book gathering dust upon my shelf.

I thought i'll give it a look, would it hurt or would it help?

I met the wolfman and the ratman, anna-o and little hans.

They were walking on a tightrope, i never thought they had a chance.

And then a hand reached out to hold them just before they tumbled down.

But i was standing in a quicksand and i could not feel the ground.

I look back and try to find the part of me i don't know.

I won't stop till i see the truth. there's such a long way to go.



I saw a picture of a stranger but i don't understand.

He had a ring around his finger and something burning in his hand.

And i wanted him to teach me and i needed to believe.

But the shadows that he threw me were intended to deceive.

J'étais seul dans ma chambre, désolé pour moi-même.

Appelez-moi un prophète de malheur, je ne pouvais penser à rien d'autre.

J'ai trouvé un livre freudien ramassant de la poussière sur mon étagère.

Je pensais que je vais lui donner un coup d'oeil, ça ferait mal ou ça aiderait?

J'ai rencontré le loup-garou et le ratman, anna-o et little hans.

Ils marchaient sur une corde raide, je n'ai jamais pensé qu'ils avaient une chance.

Et puis une main a tendu la main pour les tenir juste avant qu'ils ne tombent.

Mais je me tenais dans un sable mouvant et je ne pouvais pas sentir le sol.

Je regarde en arrière et essaie de trouver la partie de moi que je ne connais pas.

Je ne m'arrêterai pas avant d'avoir vu la vérité. il y a un si long chemin à parcourir.



J'ai vu une photo d'un étranger mais je ne comprends pas.

Il avait une bague autour de son doigt et quelque chose qui brûlait dans sa main.

Et je voulais qu'il m'apprenne et j'avais besoin de croire.

Mais les ombres qu'il m'a jetées étaient destinées à tromper.
