[Sounds of Basketball being shot around]

[Sandler:] "Hey man, I'm joining a religious cult."

[Allen:] "Now, that's ridiculous."

[Sandler:] "Well, I'm joining it, so you gotta sign up too."

[Allen:] "What are you talking about?"

[Sandler:] "Hey, don't fuck me on this, man, just sign up."

[Allen:] "No, I'm not going to join a cult!"

[Sandler:] "I can't believe you're pulling this shit on me after Monday night --"

[Allen:] "What?

[Sandler:] "-- I wanted to watch Monday Night Football

and you wanted to watch that other show and we watched your show --

I did that for you!"

[Allen:] "Yeah, well, you kept flippin' back to the game."

[Sandler:] "I WANTED TO SEE THE FUCKIN' SCORE!

Whadda you gotta do that's so fucking importnat you can't join the religious cult with me?"

[Allen:] "Well, I was gonna go sunbathing."

[Sandler:] "Oh, boy, no no, I don't think you should do that.

Because this guy, Russell -- he's the leader-guy of the cult --"

[Allen:] "-- yeah --"

[Sandler:] "-- he was rambling on during one of the speeches

about the sun being bad, like the beast can't come out

because the sun's too bright and the sun hurts his eyes or something --

you show up all sunburned and that guy's gonna get pissed at you and me!"

[Allen:] "Well, I'm not in the cult, so I don't have to worry about pissing the leader guy off!"

[Sandler:] "Look, I'm -- starting to believe in some of the stuff the cult guy's been saying --

some of it makes a lot of sense!

[Allen:] "Well, good, but I don't want to join the cult.

We can still hang out; I just won't be in it with you."

[Sandler:] "The point is, I'm not gonna have time to hang out with you because I'm gonna be fuckin' busy with this fuckin' cult!"

[Allen:] "So I'll visit on weekends -- we'll work it out."

[Sandler:] "No, the weekends are like the busiest time --

that's when we go to flea malls and fuckin' malls and talk people into joining, man!"

[Allen:] "Can I join for just a little while?

I told my dad I'd go visit him in Florida in three weeks."

[Sandler:] "Well, just, we'll ask then, but we gotta join now."

[Allen:] "What's the hurry?"

[Sandler:] "There's a girl I wanna meet there, what the fuck's your problem?"

[Allen:] "Well, I mean I don't really have to believe in this stuff, do I?"

[Sandler:] "No, no, just fuckin' tell everybody you believe in this shit -- when they say the sun sucks, go,

"Yeah, fuck the sun, I fuckin' hate it too, long live the fuckin' beast."

[Allen:] "I don't know, man. This is crazy."

[Sandler:] "Look, they're gonna give you clothers, a free haircut, you're gonna get food --"

[Allen:] "-- it's not gonna be one of those weird haircuts, is it?"

[Sandler:] "It's gonna be a haircut, all right?

You said you need a haircut, they're gonna fuckin' cut your hair.

You're going in, saving twelve bucks, just fuckin' do it!"

[Allen:] "Do you think the hot girl has a friend for me?"

[Sandler:] "Yeah, sure, and if she doesn't, she'll go out and recruit one for you!"

[Allen:] "Well, all right. But, hey, if I don't like it, I'm going to escape, man."

[Sandler:] "OK, that's up to you."



[Three weeks later!]



[Chanting repeatedly] "The night time is the right time!

The night time is the right time!"

[Sandler:] "Hey buddy, are you glad you did this?"

[Allen:] "Oh, this is the best thing I ever did. Thank you."

[Sandler:] "You're not mad at them making you, uh, kill your father, are you?"

[Allen:] "You know, it's like they said. It was the only way to save him."

[Sandler:] "You're a good guy."

[Allen:] "You're a better one."

[Chanting resumes]

[Bruits de basket-ball tournés]

[Sandler:] "Hé mec, je rejoins un culte religieux."

[Allen:] "Maintenant, c'est ridicule."

[Sandler:] "Eh bien, je le rejoins, alors tu dois aussi t'inscrire."

[Allen:] "De quoi tu parles?"

[Sandler:] "Hé, ne me baise pas là-dessus, mec, inscris-toi."

[Allen:] "Non, je ne vais pas rejoindre un culte!"

[Sandler:] "Je n'arrive pas à croire que tu m'attires cette merde après lundi soir -"

[Allen:] "Quoi?

[Sandler:] "- Je voulais regarder le football du lundi soir

et vous vouliez regarder cette autre émission et nous avons regardé votre émission -

J'ai fait ça pour toi! "

[Allen:] "Ouais, eh bien, tu as continué à retourner au jeu."

[Sandler:] "J'AI VOULU VOIR LE SCORE FUCKIN!

Whadda tu dois faire c'est tellement putain d'importnat que tu ne peux pas rejoindre le culte religieux avec moi? "

[Allen:] "Eh bien, j'allais prendre un bain de soleil."

[Sandler:] "Oh, mon garçon, non non, je ne pense pas que tu devrais faire ça.

Parce que ce gars, Russell - il est le chef-gars de la secte - "

[Allen:] "- ouais -"

[Sandler:] "- il se promenait pendant l'un des discours

que le soleil est mauvais, comme si la bête ne pouvait pas sortir

parce que le soleil est trop brillant et que le soleil lui fait mal aux yeux ou quelque chose comme ça -

vous vous présentez tous brûlés par le soleil et ce mec va vous énerver contre vous et moi! "

[Allen:] "Eh bien, je ne suis pas dans le culte, donc je n'ai pas à m'inquiéter de faire chier le leader!"

[Sandler:] "Ecoutez, je - commence à croire en certaines choses que le gars culte a dit -

certains ont beaucoup de sens!

[Allen:] "Bien, bien, mais je ne veux pas rejoindre le culte.

Nous pouvons encore traîner; Je ne serai tout simplement pas dedans avec toi. "

[Sandler:] "Le fait est que je n'aurai pas le temps de passer du temps avec toi parce que je vais être occupé avec ce putain de culte!"

[Allen:] "Je vais donc visiter le week-end - nous allons travailler."

[Sandler:] "Non, les week-ends sont comme la période la plus occupée -

c'est à ce moment que nous allons dans des centres commerciaux contre les puces et des centres commerciaux et que nous incitons les gens à se joindre à nous, mec! "

[Allen:] "Puis-je devenir membre pendant un petit moment?

J'ai dit à mon père que j'irais lui rendre visite en Floride dans trois semaines. "

[Sandler:] "Eh bien, nous allons demander alors, mais nous devons nous rejoindre maintenant."

[Allen:] "Qu'est-ce qui vous presse?"

[Sandler:] "Il y a une fille que je veux rencontrer là, c'est quoi ton problème?"

[Allen:] "Eh bien, je veux dire que je n'ai pas vraiment besoin de croire en ce genre de choses, n'est-ce pas?"

[Sandler:] "Non, non, dis juste à tout le monde que tu crois en cette merde - quand ils disent que le soleil craint, va,

"Ouais, putain de soleil, je le déteste aussi, vive la putain de bête."

[Allen:] "Je ne sais pas, mec. C'est fou."

[Sandler:] "Ecoutez, ils vont vous donner des vêtements, une coupe de cheveux gratuite, vous allez avoir de la nourriture -"

[Allen:] "- ça ne va pas être une de ces coupes de cheveux bizarres, n'est-ce pas?"

[Sandler:] "Ça va être une coupe de cheveux, d'accord?

Tu as dit que tu avais besoin d'une coupe de cheveux, ils vont te couper les cheveux.

Vous entrez, économisez douze dollars, faites-le! "

[Allen:] "Pensez-vous que la fille sexy a un ami pour moi?"

[Sandler:] "Oui, bien sûr, et si elle ne le fait pas, elle sortira et en recrutera un pour vous!"

[Allen:] "Eh bien, d'accord. Mais, hé, si je n'aime pas ça, je vais m'enfuir, mec."

[Sandler:] "OK, ça dépend de vous."



[Trois semaines plus tard!]



[Chantant à plusieurs reprises] "La nuit est le bon moment!

La nuit est le bon moment! "

[Sandler:] "Hé mon pote, êtes-vous content d'avoir fait ça?"

[Allen:] "Oh, c'est la meilleure chose que j'aie jamais faite. Merci."

[Sandler:] "Tu n'es pas en colère contre eux qui te font, euh, tuer ton père, n'est-ce pas?"

[Allen:] "Vous savez, c'est comme ils l'ont dit. C'était le seul moyen de le sauver."

[Sandler:] "Vous êtes un bon gars."

[Allen:] "Tu es meilleur."

[Le chant reprend]
