If Santa were my daddy, I'd be good every single day of the year!

I bet you think I couldn't do it, yeah I could

with such a jolly gentleman so near.

I'd always try to be the kind of boy Santa'd want his son to be.

Helpful and friendly, 'specially when he had his twinkling eye on me!



I would dress exactly like my daddy, I would learn to laugh his ho-ho-hos!

Maybe he would even teach me how to fly

by laying a finger aside of my nose.



And maybe I would grow a snow white beard,

and try to learn to turn with a jerk.

Then finally when all the Clauses disappear,

my daddy would retire from his work.

And I would be the one to take his place,

spreading all the Christmas joy.

I'd be more than willing, wow would it be thrilling!

Si le Père Noël était mon papa, je serais bien tous les jours de l'année!

Je parie que tu penses que je ne pourrais pas le faire, oui je pourrais

avec un gentleman si joyeux si proche.

J'essayerais toujours d'être le genre de garçon que le Père Noël voudrait que son fils soit.

Utile et sympathique, 'spécialement quand il avait son ?il scintillant sur moi!



Je m'habillerais exactement comme mon papa, j'apprendrais à rire de son ho-ho-hos!

Peut-être qu'il m'apprendrait même à voler

en posant un doigt de côté de mon nez.



Et peut-être que je ferais pousser une barbe blanche comme neige,

et essayez d'apprendre à tourner avec une secousse.

Puis enfin quand toutes les clauses disparaissent,

mon papa se retirerait de son travail.

Et je serais celui qui prendrait sa place,

répandre toute la joie de Noël.

Je serais plus que disposé, wow serait-ce passionnant!
