Well i had a little feeling to have a big night

And woke up feeling small and not so brave and not quite right

I had to face the who am i and where is she and what did i do

But worst of all i had to face the big light



The big light came through my window and it opened up my eyelids

And it snapped them up like roller blinds and told me things that i did

I can't face another day and night of good ideas and complications

And i'm thankful that i didn't open another bottle of inspiration

When the hangover this morning had a personality

And i cast my shattered mind over selected memories

I didn't even touch the light switch so i knew i'd never see

The haggard face that would be staring back at me

I had to face the who am i and who is she and what did i do

But worst of all i had to face the big light

Et bien j'ai eu un petit sentiment d'avoir une grosse soirée

Et je me suis réveillé en me sentant petit et pas si courageux et pas tout à fait raison

J'ai dû faire face à qui suis-je et où est-elle et qu'est-ce que j'ai fait

Mais le pire de tout, je devais faire face à la grande lumière



La grande lumière est venue à travers ma fenêtre et a ouvert mes paupières

Et il les a cassés comme des volets roulants et m'a dit des choses que j'ai faites

Je ne peux pas faire face à un autre jour et nuit de bonnes idées et de complications

Et je suis reconnaissant de ne pas avoir ouvert une autre bouteille d'inspiration

Quand la gueule de bois ce matin avait une personnalité \u003cbr />
Et je jette mon esprit brisé sur des souvenirs sélectionnés

Je n'ai même pas touché l'interrupteur, donc je savais que je ne verrais jamais

Le visage hagard qui me regardait en retour



Eh bien, j'avais un petit sentiment d'avoir du plaisir

Et je me suis réveillé pour sonner l'alarme comme un grand carillon d'église

J'ai dû faire face à qui suis-je et qui est-elle et qu'est-ce que j'ai fait

Mais le pire de tout, je devais faire face à la grande lumière
