Underneath the mistletoe last night

He didn't see me creep, down the stairs to have a peep

He thought that I was tucked up in my bedroom fast asleep



Then I saw daddy tickle, Santa Claus

Underneath his beard so snowy white

There must be some mistake, was I really awake?

I rub my eyes and moved in close up, better look to take

Then I..then I...hey..hey!



Then I saw daddy hugging, Santa Claus

He took his hand and pulled him to the couch,

It must have been just fine, Santa didn't seem to mind

Then daddy moved across the room to pour them both some wine,



Then I saw daddy fundle, Santa Claus

And on his beard he nibbled now and then,

I crawled across the floor, I hid behind the door,

I left it open just a crack so I could watch some more

then I..then I..then I...then I..



Then I saw daddy undress, Santa Claus

They quickly threw their clothes on a big chair

Well much to my surprise, I couldn't believe my eyes

It wasn't Santa after all but mommy in disguise



But I saw daddy kissing Santa Claus,

Underneath the mistletoe last night

Oh what a laugh it would it been,

If I had really seen daddy kissing Santa Claus that night..!!

Isaw papa s'embrassant, Père Noël

Sous le gui la nuit dernière

Il ne m'a pas vu ramper, descendre les escaliers pour jeter un coup d'?il

Il pensait que j'étais coincé dans ma chambre profondément endormi



Puis j'ai vu papa chatouiller, le Père Noël

Sous sa barbe si blanche enneigée

Il doit y avoir une erreur, étais-je vraiment réveillé?

Je me frotte les yeux et bouge en gros plan, mieux vaut prendre

Alors je ... puis je ... hey..hey!



Puis j'ai vu papa se serrer dans ses bras, le Père Noël

Il lui prit la main et l'attira sur le canapé,

Ça devait être très bien, le Père Noël ne semblait pas déranger

Puis papa a traversé la pièce pour leur verser du vin à tous les deux,



Puis j'ai vu papa fondre, le Père Noël

Et sur sa barbe il mordillait de temps en temps,

J'ai rampé sur le sol, je me suis caché derrière la porte,

Je l'ai laissé ouvert juste une fissure pour pouvoir en regarder un peu plus

puis je ... puis je ... puis je ... puis je ..



Puis j'ai vu papa se déshabiller, le Père Noël

Ils ont rapidement jeté leurs vêtements sur une grande chaise

Et bien à ma grande surprise, je n'en croyais pas mes yeux

Ce n'était pas le Père Noël après tout mais maman déguisée



Mais j'ai vu papa embrasser le Père Noël,

Sous le gui la nuit dernière

Oh quel rire ça aurait été,

Si j'avais vraiment vu papa embrasser le Père Noël cette nuit-là .. !!
