Je suis l?artiste et je sais où je me trouve,

Un autre serenader et un autre groupe aux cheveux longs

Aujourd'hui, je suis votre champion, j'ai peut-être gagné vos c?urs

Mais je sais que le jeu tu oublieras mon nom

Et je ne serai pas là dans une autre année

Si je ne reste pas dans les charts



Je suis l?artiste et j?ai dû payer mon prix,

Ce que je ne savais pas au début, j'ai appris en faisant deux fois

Mais ils viennent toujours me hanter,

Ils veulent toujours avoir leur mot à dire,



J'ai donc appris à danser avec une main dans mon pantalon

Je les laisse me frotter le cou et je leur écris un chèque

Et ils font leur chemin joyeux

J'ai joué à toutes sortes de palais et posé toutes sortes de filles

Je ne me souviens pas des visages, je ne me souviens pas des noms,

Parce qu'au bout d'un moment et de mille kilomètres

Tout devient le même
